Jack: When I moved back to Indonesia in 2019, I remember walking through the garden at UPH, the campus I grew up on, and praying to God about feelings of loneliness. Just two months later, God answered my prayer, and I was walking through the same garden with Ella.

Ella: Before 2019, I was praying and praying for the person I am to love for the rest of my life. In 2019, my prayers became "Lord, where is he? I'm struggling to believe that you have someone for me." However, I kept praying and waiting until one day, I met him while babysitting his nephews. We talked that night and deep inside I knew God was telling me, "that's him"! 

Jack & Ella got to know each other through coffee dates and friend group hangouts. In May 14, 2023 Jack asked Ella to marry him. 

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
